Anna Alma-Tadema (1867-1943) was a British painter, illustrator, and the daughter of renowned Dutch painter Lawrence Alma-Tadema. She studied at the Royal Academy of Art in London and became known for her genre scenes and portraits, often depicting women and children in domestic settings. Alma-Tadema also illustrated several books, including editions of Charles Dickens' novels. She exhibited her paintings regularly at the Royal Academy and the Paris Salon. Despite her talent, Alma-Tadema's career was overshadowed by that of her father, who was more famous and successful during her lifetime. However, her work has been recognized in recent years and is now held in several public collections, including the Tate Gallery in London.
